This app is an independent, fan-made reference tool for GTA cheat codes and GTA 5 / GTA 6 guides. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Game titles are the property of their owners and are used only to describe what the app covers.
This policy explains what the app collects, why, who receives it, and what choices you have.
Stored only on your device and never sent to us:
Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
The app uses these services. They run on Google’s servers, and Google receives your IP address when your device contacts them.
Firebase Analytics. Helps us understand which parts of the app are used. It records events such as opening a guide or category, sharing or bookmarking a guide, opening a notification, and ad performance events (an ad was requested, loaded, shown or failed). If you use the Guides search, the text you search for is recorded as an event. Analytics also uses a pseudonymous app-instance identifier and basic device information (device model, operating system version, app version, language, and approximate location derived from your IP address). On Android it may also use your advertising ID.
Firebase Crashlytics. If the app crashes, a report is sent containing the crash details, app version, device model and operating system version, so we can fix the bug.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications). If you allow notifications, the app registers with Google to receive them. This involves a push token and an installation identifier. The app subscribes your device to notification topics that match the categories you switch on in Settings, and removes them when you switch a category off. You can turn notifications off in the app’s Settings or in your device’s system settings.
Firebase Remote Config. Fetches app settings (for example how often ads appear) so they can change without an app update.
Cloud Firestore. Downloads the guide content shown in the Guides section. This is read-only and needs no login.
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob (banner, interstitial and rewarded ads). AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and use device identifiers such as your advertising ID, along with information about the ads you see and interact with, to deliver, personalize and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Where the GDPR or similar law applies, we process analytics and crash data based on our legitimate interest in keeping the app working and improving it, and we process advertising data based on your consent where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time through Privacy Options in Settings. You may ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of data we hold about you, and you may object to processing or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We do not have a user account system, so we generally cannot identify you from the data above. To have your Analytics identifiers removed, or for any request, contact us with the details in this policy. Resetting your advertising ID, clearing the app’s data, or uninstalling the app also stops the app from associating new data with the old identifiers.
Analytics, crash and messaging data are kept by Google under the retention settings of the Firebase project, and then deleted or aggregated. Data on your device is kept until you clear it or uninstall the app.
We do not sell personal data. Data is processed by the service providers named above (Google Firebase, Google AdMob and Google Fonts, plus GitHub Pages and third-party image hosts for the requests described). The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will help.
We will update this policy when the app’s data practices change, and the effective date above will change with it. The current version is always available at this page.
