Privacy Policy
This application is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Coins in Minecoin Rewards are reward points that exist only inside this app; they are not any game's official currency.
1. Introduction
This policy explains what information Minecoin Rewards ("the app", "we") handles, why, and the choices you have. It describes the app as it works on the date above. We will update this page before the app starts doing anything this policy does not describe.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we and our service providers handle:
- Account information: a Firebase user ID and, if you create an account, your email address, the username you choose and how you sign in (Google, or email and password). If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic account details Google provides for sign-in. We also record when the account was created.
- Profile choices: your nickname and the avatar you pick.
- Game, quest and reward activity: Coins, streaks, quests completed, games played, daily reward status and Coin history (section 5).
- Redemption information for reward requests you make (section 6).
- Advertising information processed by Google when ads are requested or shown (section 8).
- A notification token, only if you allow notifications.
- Device integrity signals from Firebase App Check (Google Play Integrity), which confirm requests come from the genuine app on a real device.
- Crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics (error, app version and basic device details), always on, and other diagnostics only if they are switched on (section 9).
The app does not ask for your contacts, precise location, photos, camera or microphone, and it never asks for the password of any game account.
3. How we use information
- To run the app: sign you in, save your progress and show your balance and history.
- To calculate, record and limit rewards, and to review redemption requests.
- To detect and prevent bots, duplicate claims and other misuse of the reward system.
- To show the Top Miners leaderboard (weekly, monthly and all time), which lists the nickname, avatar and Coins earned of the top players.
- To send reminders and reward updates you asked for.
- To answer support requests you send us.
- To keep the service working and to fix problems.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Accounts and guests
You can start playing as a guest. A guest session uses an anonymous Firebase user ID, with no email or name. You need to create an account or sign in with Google to redeem rewards. If you turn a guest session into an account, your progress stays with it.
Profile details you type in Edit Profile (display name, nickname and an optional gamer tag) are stored on your device; this version of the app does not upload your gamer tag. Your selected avatar is saved with your account.
5. Game, quest and reward activity
Rewards are decided and recorded by our servers, so the following is stored with your account:
- Your Coin balance, Coins held for pending redemptions, and lifetime totals.
- Your streak, and the Coins you earned this week, this month and in total, which the leaderboard shows to other players with your nickname and avatar.
- Quest progress, completed quests and how many you have completed.
- The number of games you have played.
- Daily Treasure, Lucky Wheel, Treasure Scratch and quiz results.
- Coin history: each credit or spend with its date and source (for example a game, a quest or a redemption).
- When a game run finishes and you are eligible for a reward, the run's result (for example score, duration and game statistics) so the server can check it. Individual moves and taps are not sent.
6. Redemption data
A redemption request records the reward you chose, its Coin cost, the country you selected for rewards, the time and the status (Pending, Under review, Approved, Delivered, Not approved or Cancelled). We may also keep abuse-prevention signals about an account, such as risk scores and review notes, used only to protect the reward system.
Redemption may be closed while reward fulfilment is being set up. If delivering a reward ever needs extra details from you, this policy will be updated before the app asks for them.
7. Firebase and Google services
The app runs on Google Firebase. These products are in use:
- Firebase Authentication: guest, email and Google sign-in.
- Cloud Firestore: stores your account, progress, Coin activity, redemptions and leaderboard entries.
- Cloud Functions: the server logic that awards and checks rewards and handles redemptions and account requests.
- Firebase App Check: helps confirm requests come from the genuine app on a genuine device, using Google Play Integrity.
- Firebase Remote Config: switches features on or off and holds display settings.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivers updates about your reward requests, only after you allow notifications.
- Firebase Crashlytics: crash reports, always on.
- Google Sign-In: if you choose to sign in with Google.
Google processes this data on our behalf and may store it on servers in other countries.
8. Advertising
The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show ads. Three formats are used:
- App open ads, which may appear when you open or return to the app.
- Interstitial ads between screens: after every few taps on the main navigation, and when you come back from a page or a game. Never during a game, a claim, sign-in or a reward request.
- Rewarded ads that you choose to watch: to continue a game run once, to play again after a game over, and for one extra Lucky Wheel spin and one extra Treasure Scratch a day. Prizes are decided by our servers like any other play.
There are no banner ads. If no ad is available, the app carries on without one.
When an ad is requested or shown, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device and app information, your advertising ID where the device allows it, ad interaction information, and general location derived from your IP address. This is handled under Google's advertising policies. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device's Google settings.
Consent. Where it applies to you (for example in the EEA, the UK and US states with privacy laws), the app asks for your consent or choices through Google's User Messaging Platform before requesting any ad, and no ad is requested until that step allows it. You can review or change your choice at any time in the app: Profile, then Privacy choices.
To confirm that a rewarded ad was completed, the app passes your app user ID and a one-time claim ID to Google, and Google sends a confirmation to our servers. Ad content is limited to a teen rating. We do not give advertisers your email, name or reward history, and we do not sell personal information.
9. Analytics and diagnostics
Crash reports are always on. When the app crashes or hits an unexpected error, Firebase Crashlytics receives a report with the error, where in the app it happened, the app version and basic device details (such as model and Android version). Crash reports do not include your name, email or reward history.
The app also includes Firebase Analytics and Performance Monitoring, which ship switched off and collect data only if the diagnostics preference on your device is turned on. This version of the app does not show a control to turn it on, so they are not collecting data.
10. Notifications
Notifications are off until you allow them. Daily reminders (Daily Treasure, unfinished Daily Quests, an evening check-in) are scheduled on your device, at most three a day, and are created from information the app already has. When you allow notifications, the app also creates a Firebase Cloud Messaging token and saves it with your account so we can tell you when a reward request changes status. You can switch reminders off, or turn notifications off in your device settings, at any time.
11. Data stored on your device
The app stores preferences (language, sound, music, haptics), reminder choices, the profile details you entered, your selected avatar, and cached progress (shown only while the app reconnects) on your device. This is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall it. The app does not keep passwords on the device.
13. Retention
Profile and progress information is kept while your account exists. Reward records (Coin activity and redemption requests) exist so balances and requests can be checked and abuse can be investigated; some may be kept after an account is deleted where needed for security, fraud prevention, record-keeping or legal reasons, anonymised where possible. Short-lived technical records are removed automatically after a limited period.
14. Security
We use reasonable safeguards: encrypted connections, server-side reward checks, database access rules that deny every client write to balances and rewards, and App Check. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep your sign-in details private.
15. Account and data deletion
- In the app: Profile, then Delete account. Deletion starts on our servers once confirmed. It is refused while a reward request is still being processed; you can cancel a pending request first.
- By email: write to madaxe005@gmail.com with your in-app username. We may ask for details to confirm the account is yours.
Deleting an account removes its profile, wallet, Coin history, daily progress, devices, leaderboard entries and sign-in. Reward records may be kept as described under Retention. Uninstalling the app does not by itself delete data stored on our servers.
16. Children's privacy
The app is intended for people aged 13 and over, and ad content is limited to a teen rating. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
17. Third-party services
Google services have their own privacy policies, which apply to the data they process:
- Google Privacy Policy
- Privacy and security in Firebase
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
Mojang Studios and Microsoft are named on this page only to state that the app is not connected with them.
18. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the updated policy.
