Emoji Battery Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 24, 2026

This policy explains how the Emoji Battery app for Android (package com.madaxe.sohan.emojibattery, "the app") handles information. The app is published by Madaxe ("we", "us"). If you have a question, email dhungel9814@gmail.com.

The short version

Information that stays on your phone

To work, the app reads and saves the following on your device only. We never receive it.

This data is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android Settings, Apps, Emoji Battery, Storage.

Permissions and why the app asks for them

PermissionWhy
Display over other appsShows the battery mascot, the screen mascot and the charging animation on top of other apps. The app does not read what is on your screen.
NotificationsBattery alerts you turn on (low battery, charge levels, full charge), a few friendly reminders each week, and the quiet notice Android requires while the charging animation or a mascot runs in the background.
Foreground serviceKeeps the charging animation, alerts and mascots working while the app is closed. It only runs while one of those features is on.
Run at startupBrings the charging animation and widgets back after your phone restarts or the app updates.
Internet and network stateLoads ads and sends crash reports. The core features work offline.
Advertising IDUsed by Google AdMob to show and measure ads, as described below.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free and shows full-screen ads (app open, interstitial and rewarded ads) served by Google AdMob. When an ad is requested or shown, Google may collect or receive your device's advertising ID, your IP address (which can indicate an approximate location), device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Google uses this to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and, if you allow it, personalize ads.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or a region with similar rules, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalized ads are used. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings, Privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Android settings.

Crash reports and usage statistics (Google Firebase)

The app may use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics. Crashlytics sends crash details (device model, Android version, app version and the error that occurred) so we can fix problems. Analytics sends anonymous events such as "charging animation turned on" so we know which features are used. These reports do not include your battery history, and we cannot use them to identify you. See the Firebase privacy information.

What we don't collect

We don't collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, messages, files or precise location. We don't sell personal information.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

How long data is kept

Security

The Google services the app uses send data over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Everything else stays in the app's private storage on your phone.

Your choices and rights

You can turn off features, withdraw ad consent in Privacy choices, reset your advertising ID, or uninstall the app at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. We don't keep your personal information on our own servers, but email us and we will help, including with requests about data held by Google.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
